Argentina

Today we went out to China town for dinner.  Turned out that almost all of the restaurants don't open until 8 PM. We found one that said it opened at 7:30 PM but it was empty (lights on) and the door was locked even though the sign said it was open. I made sure to look up the word open in spanish - abierto.  Maybe there was a sign on the door saying opening in 15 minutes or ring the bell to enter, but we missed it.  So we walked around the block for a few minutes waiting for restaurants to open but John got too hungry and Katt started to fuss in her stroller so we ended up finding a Japanese restaurant to eat in.

The restaurant was pretty good. We started out with gyoza for Zach and Asia which they promptly devoured - fighting over the 5th dumpling. Then we had an appetizer of different meats on skewers - chicken, pork, shrimp, and salmon. All very good. John got a pork cutlet dish with a great salad.  And I got pork ramen.  The servings were way too small or maybe we were all too hungry since we're not used to eating at 8 PM.  Though it's 8 PM here, but really 7 PM at home.  Maybe it's more the thought of eating dinner at 8 PM. Nevertheless, we ended up stopping by a sandwich place on the way home to fill our tummies.  Now we know, don't bother going out for dinner or else don't go til it's 8 PM at the least.  Katt just doesn't have much tolerance for sitting around in her stroller.
